The tutorial below was developed in conjunction with the Harvard Department of Government’s PreFresher course. The course serves as a math refresher for incoming PhD students, and it also is the first place many of the students are exposed to statistical programming. Each of the six tutorials below was taught during a 90 minute session.

I’ve also taught a condensed 2-hour version of the tutorial for Gary King’s course Advanced Quantitative Research Methodology (Gov2001). You can find the code and data for it here, as well as a video where I walk through the code here.
